Background
With her many years’ experience as a radio presenter and powerful public speaker, Katharine Lee Kruger holds her audience captivated with her storytelling, facilitation, audience participation, motivational and inspirational presentations. A trauma and Covid-19 survivor and well-known spiritual sage, having blazed a trail once thought impossible, she provides guidance, insight, inspiration and enlightenment to her audience. As a keynote speaker, she rounds her presentations to fit in with central themes, such as spirituality in the workplace, stress management, multi-dimensional thinking, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and creativity. She helps people to shift their perceptions, and change their thoughts, inspiring them to make powerful and lasting changes in their lives.
Public Speaking Engagements
Katharine’s public speaking career began Cape Town when she addressed the Health for Africa Convention in 1988. This was followed by other speaking engagements at Lesedi in Maseru, Lesotho, the Second Congress of SA Physiotherapists Acupuncture Association in Durban, Rhodes University, Premier Food Industries, Johannesburg, Camelot International Academy for Health and Beauty, Exclusive Books “Towards Enlightenment Exhibition” in Cape Town; to mention only a few. She was also a keynote speaker on 7 September 2001 at the Healing through Creative Arts Conference in Johannesburg.Her reputation has spread worldwide, and she has in the past been invited to present a paper at “The World Congress of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine” in China and to represent South Africa at a congress of planetary “Light Leaders” in Texas. She was also invited to address ‘The World Congress of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine” in Canada in August 1995 and the 3rd International Congress of Traditional Healing in Senegal in July 2004. More recently, she was guest speaker at the Tiragalo Business Consulting Executive Secretaries Conference, where she spoke on “Bringing Your Phenomenal Self to Work". She co-Presented a two-day workshop, 'Dealing with Journalists from TV, Radio and Print Media’ for the University of the Witwatersrand. In July 2019, she as guest speaker, lectured on Mindfulness, for The University of Johannesburg’s Accounting Department.
They invited her back on 30 January 2020, to facilitate a group of 66 people on ‘Bringing Core Values into the Workplace’. The learning outcomes helped participants to cope better with their work. This included addressing the expectations of others, as well as their personal responses to situations, so helping to prevent problems of burnout, sickness absence and staff retention.
